Chorley Marlins new club kit can now be ordered direct from Zapkam through their online store.
We have received positive feedback about the new kit, it was good to see many members wearing it at Leeds on Saturday. The kit is manufactured using sublimation printing which means the design, logos and names are dyed into the material during the manufacturing process. The advantage of this is that names and logos will not peel or crack which has been a problem in the past. Members names can be added to the back of the tops and initials on the shorts and tracksuit bottoms at no extra cost. You can visit the online shop here: https://www.zapkam.com/p/club-shops/swimming/chorley-marlins-swimming-club/ The items of clothing available are: Swimmers Short Sleeve Shirt Tracksuit Jacket Hooded Training Top - Full Zip Hooded Training Top - Pullover Hooded Training Top - 1/4 Zip Quarter Zip Training Top Tracksuit bottoms Tight fit Training Bottoms Shorts Some feedback on sizing, the Ladies sizes for tops are a shorter length than the Adult sizes, so some may prefer the longer length by choosing Adult / Youth sizes. Please use the following links to size guides: Short Sleeve Shirt Tracksuit Jackets Hooded tops Tracksuit Bottoms Tight Fit Training Bottoms Quarter Zip Training Top Shorts Backpack & Swimwear - we will be taking new orders next week for these. A big well done to all the Chorley Marlins swimmers who took part in the City of Leeds Sprint Meet on Saturday. There were lots of excellent swims with many PBs achieved by our swimmers, we hope you enjoyed the day. It was a very well-run meet in a great pool with a good turnout by Chorley Marlins who supported and encouraged each other. Congratulations to the three Marlins members who won medals, this is a real achievement up against club swimmers who regularly train in a 50m pool. Galas must be paid for at the same time as an entry is submitted. We have to submit and pay for the Clubs entry on the closing date to secure our swimmers entries. Any delay could mean swimmers missing out on their chosen events. Both the Competition Secretary and Treasurer are extremely busy and both have to spend time chasing payments to avoid your child missing out.
Popular galas such as Leeds are always oversubscribed so entries need to be submitted promptly by the Club. We request that any future gala entries are paid punctually. Unfortunately if payments are not received by the closing date your entry will not be submitted. Those with outstanding payments for Leeds are being contacted but we will not be chasing unpaid entries for future galas. Chorley Marlins summer break will be Monday July 25th to Sunday August 7th, 2022. The last training session will be on Sunday 24th and training will resume on Monday August 8th.
The last Minis and Development Group session will be Saturday 23rd and will resume on Saturday 13th August. We hope you and your families have a great summer. |
